A girl who attacked two strangers with an axe in a Sydney comfort retailer has had her jail time period elevated by 5 years. Transgender lady Evie Amati, 27, was in January sentenced to 9 years behind bars for the violent and unprovoked assault on the Enmore 7-Eleven in 2017. The Crown appealed the leniency of the sentence and the Courtroom of Legal Enchantment at the moment set it apart and as a substitute imposed a sentence of 14 years with a non-parole interval of eight years. It means her minimal jail time period has practically doubled and she or he won’t be eligible for parole till January 2025.
