So long as they launch high quality stuff, I do not care what style they play. All “actual followers” will most likely be appalled after I let you know that previous Katatonia is boring and sloppy. Their revered debut is just horrible, as is Discouraged Ones. Courageous Homicide Day has some good moments, however it’s fairly weak too. The band turned actually attention-grabbing on Viva Vacancy and have remained so till immediately. I am glad to see that the brand new album apparently will proceed that development.

Large time Katatonia fan right here. The art work is kinda lame imo. This factor with the birds is getting exhausting.
The track jogs my memory a little bit of Serein bit worse than that.
Its a cool tune, however kinda “empty”. I miss the instances when the songs had extra weight and layers to it. This simplistic method makes the band sound like Placebo and such.
