Mr. GnG, a prog rock/arduous rock band hailing from France and India, has launched its first-ever single, “Goodbye, Mr. GnG”, taken from their upcoming EPonymous EP.
The music video for “Goodbye, Mr. GnG” highlights the band’s fascination with ’80s aesthetics and places these aesthetics in a contemporary gentle. The music is a relentless prog rock tune with a rollercoaster of dynamic adjustments in rhythm and really feel. It shows a variety of the band’s vocal, instrumental, and songwriting skills – starting from growls to choral harmonies, funky grooves to odd time signatures, and ethereal ambient passages to barn-burning riffage.

The band began in June 2021 as a two-piece outfit comprising Ishan Dave on vocals/guitars/bass and Abhilash Sreekumar on backing vocals/keyboards/drums.
