OTTTO, the band that includes bassist Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo), have introduced a brand new album titled Life Is a Sport. The Los Angeles trio have unveiled the track/video “My Ache” forward of the LP’s March twenty fourth launch.
Trujillo is joined by singer-guitarist Bryan Noah Ferretti (vocals/guitar) and drummer Triko Chavez in OTTTO. The band beforehand launched a self-titled effort in 2020, in addition to a dwell album, Locos Dwell in Venice, in late 2022. A dwell model of “My Ache” appeared on the latter launch.
Ferretti said of the upcoming album, “The vibe of this report was getting out of our consolation zone and being free. We had been opening our eyes to what could possibly be finished. There have been some cool harmonies, and we targeted on the general construction. It had a relentless move.”
Trujillo added, “In 2020, our self-titled [release] included plenty of tunes we had sitting round for just a few years. With this report, the expertise was totally different. We actually took the time to discover a vibe for every observe.”
Life Is a Sport was produced by Tim Harkins (Korn, Jerry Cantrell). A video for “My Ache” was directed by Ali “Dr. Cosdem” Bilal, and may be seen under.
OTTTO have a handful of dwell dates surrounding the discharge of Life Is a Sport, together with appearances on the Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals (tickets out there right here), in addition to just a few membership gigs.
