There’s unhappy information to report as Saliva guitarist Wayne Swinny has died on the age of 59. The information was confirmed by the band, with singer Bobby Amaru issuing an announcement. Earlier on Wednesday (March 22), it was revealed that Swinny had been taken to the ICU after struggling a mind hemorrhage on Tuesday morning (March 21). The band had been out on tour in assist of their latest single, “Excessive on Me.”
“I’m not even certain what to suppose or tips on how to really feel proper now. My coronary heart aches for Wayne’s household, his pals, and anybody who had the enjoyment of being round him,” revealed the singer. “My coronary heart aches for his daughter Nikki. He cherished that little lady a lot. He was a Guitar Hero onstage with all of the Rock ‘N’ Roll swag that almost all guitar gamers dream of. Offstage he was a proud father, an Historical Aliens knowledgeable, and an unbelievable human who had zero enemies! He would exit of his approach to ensure you had fun.”
“I’m grateful that I bought to share virtually 12 years of my life with Wayne on the stage and most significantly off the stage,” continued the vocalist. “He was the older brother I by no means had. I discovered a lot from him and we had a fucking blast collectively! I’ll cherish all of it for the remainder of my life! God Bless you Wayne. I do know we’ll meet once more!!”
Swinny was the one member remaining from Saliva’s authentic lineup after the departures of vocalist Josey Scott in 2011 and bassist Dave Novotny in 2015, although the previous reunited with the group for a efficiency on the Blue Ridge Rock Pageant this previous September.

Amaru joined the band in 2011, with the present lineup of the group that includes the singer, Swinny on guitar, Brad Stewart on bass and Sammi Jo Bishop on drums.
