Rhythm guitarist/vocalist James Smith has introduced that he has been let go from Underoath. Smith had been an energetic member of the outfit since becoming a member of in 2003. Taking to his Instagram tales earlier right now, March twenty eighth, Smith acknowledged;
“After 20 years of music and friendship, I used to be knowledgeable that I’m now not a member of Underoath. This saddens me to say, however sadly is the place we now have ended up. I recognize everybody who, at any second of their lives, have felt impressed, accepted, comforted, and energized by the music we created and the reveals we carried out collectively.
It has been my honor and privilege to be part of your lives in that method although we might have by no means met or shared our tales nose to nose. Your dedication, grace, and love for this band have allowed us to exist this lengthy. The recollections I’ve from this journey are greater than anybody might ever count on in a lifetime, and I genuinely thanks all for being part of it.”
So far it doesn’t seem that his bandmates have publicly addressed the matter.
